DurianSeason - characters

Threw together a bunch of ref sheets for the characters from my thesis, just for the heck of it. Their colour refs needed updating anyway and the rest are just me having fun with poses. :3 Again, this is in Traditional because the only thing digital about this are the basic colours and the text, and the focus is supposed to be the drawings anyhow.

Some of you might remember Labu, my pangolin character that showed up a long time ago - she's been revamped to be more animator-friendly. ;D Monkeys are definitely something new to me, and they've been a lot of fun. (Please note that I was not going for complete accuracy on species; although each of my guys was loosely referenced from a particular primate species, as far as animation is concerned I am willing to sacrifice absolute accuracy for the sake of design and animatability. So don't yell at me if they're not completely accurate, but I would appreciate people with more experience drawing and studying monkeys than myself politely pointing out things that they think could be improved if any are noticed. )

Especially after three years of "OMG SO YUR THESIS IZ GUNNA BE ABOWT DOGZ Y/Y??" I am really excited about this. >D
